Couldn't pay me enough to work here again
Pros
little to no oversight, can literally collect a paycheck, especially at higher levels
Cons
poorly managed business units non-existent budgets upper management has no clue whats going on in their industry or business completely tied to shareholder value go read their annual filing, theres a line buried in there from Frank himself regarding the stability of the company as it relates to general and administrative expenses--in that there are basically no raises outside of inflation. He also hand approves every raise. They lay people off every year in october no matter the market conditions, even when the mortgage business was absolutely booming they let about 75 people go ive told anyone and everyone who has ever asked me to stay away from this company, you couldn't pay me any amount of money to go back. I was a senior individual contributor, i was naive enough to think we were innovative, after about a year of getting beat down by "costs too much" and "not important" i just collected a paycheck till my entire department was let go around me every october. then the following october i was let go... told them it took em long enough.
