      New management treat employees who have dedicated their careers to the company with some respect. Blindsided people with 30 plus years.

      Pros

      You can learn all aspects of the taxing end of the mortgage industry. You may be a document clerk that sends the tax info off, or you may mail the checks to the taxing agent.

      Cons

      In order to move ahead you have to be liked my your manager. They don't do things based on your abilities, it is based on whether or not they like you. So many more people are qualified to be in positions of management but because they aren't liked, they aren't chosen.

      Decent benefits and pay; OK work/life balance.

      Cons

      Too much micromanaging from afar. Corporate was handing down edicts without knowing anything about our business. Frequent layoffs, especially among long-time employees. Training was non-existent, and little was being spent on R&D. They were far more concerned with their next quarterly stock earnings report than on the long-term future or well-being of the company or employees.
