Very low salary for nurses!

Pros

Nice manager. Easy to park.

Cons

I have been an RN for 39 years and earn the same pay as an RN with 9 years. Insultingly low pay.Use Cerner electronic system which is the cheaper and sub par system compared to Epic. Required to use vacation pay on major holidays.

Pros

Great benefits, great CTO/vacation policy, some departments within the business office have very flexible time, but that depends on who the manager is.

Cons

Training isn't consistent since there are no set training methods. You are just placed to shadow someone and your success really depends on how well your training goes. The worst part though is that the place is like high school. One of the supervisors acts like the ring leader, and if you are part of her posse, you will get the special treatment, special projects, special attention and awards, etc. HR knows about this favoritism, but does nothing about it.
