Pros

none other than industry experience and matching 401k

Cons

You are just another number to them, Company does not care about its employees, took a 6 grand pay cut when ICS Merrill and Global Options merged. New System is a joke, case manager does not reply to updates, questions or suggestions. They set you up to fail. No chance of promotion unless you live near one of their two main offices. Promised raises for 2 years have yet to see one despite the great results i get for them and their clients. Communication between management and investigators is atrocious. Dave Merrill will nickle and dime you on everything possible to save a buck or two, including report time, driving time, per diem for vehicle, cell and internet reimbursement. Stay away

Drive an average of 1100 miles a week at state minimum wage. But...

Pros

They offer a vehicle allowance if you work 40 hrs a week. If not it is prorated. Full-time employees benefit from a 4% match on retirement contributions. Insurance is available for about 180 a month I believe for a single person. I have been fortunate to have a fantastic manager who answers all of my questions and is always professional. There are opportunities to advance if you stand-in good regard.

Cons

My biggest cons are the penny pinching, the 4/6 hr days. The driving at state minimum wage. Working a month with a day off or two and hoping to get 30 hrs a week. The additional SIU work on top of surveillance. The fact that individuals are hired that have no business conducting any type of professional business. You are not guaranteed a raise. Your starting pay will be 21 to 23 an hour. And the maximum raise you can receive is 5 percent if you're lucky. The "scorecard" is completely wrong. They do a blended rate for overtime. Legal probably ethical NO. You will never be able to understand your paycheck.

Pros

I really like working here as a desk investigator. I'm busy all day, my days go by so fast. Easy going dress code, great fully stocked break rooms, flex hours to a point, popcorn parties, monthly birthday cakes, I do my job with headphones on and stay focused the whole day.

Cons

I wish I could get to know my coworkers more...
