Smaller department managers seem ill-informed of daily activities throughout their direct team’s responsibilities and roles. It’s possible they are only out for themselves and how much sooner they can move themselves higher up the food chain rather than focusing on how to achieve more for the good of the company.

High stress; don't plan on a life outside work; personal time is spent working; plan to have to re-interview for the position you have done for years or go through continual lay-offs every 3 years or so. Plan to be let go after years of being loyal and dedicated.
