They began to offer an IVF benefit this year to cover infertility. Without it, we wouldn't have been able to start our family. They pay a huge portion of your health insurance too!

I would really think twice before taking a job at Cox Automotive. My entire team is currently looking for new work as there is no opportunity for advancement in the corporate office. There has been nothing but layoffs at the analyst and manager level while nothing changes with Director and above leadership. This has resulted in the remaining employees being asked to do more and more work with less and less suport. Director and VP level positions are mostly nepotism hires. Cox Automotive is not about innovation or growth.

Pros

Parent company, Cox Enterprise is a good solid private company. Good pay, bonus, 401K, benefits. They really care about the environment, diversity and social good. They have done a great job focusing more on diversity.

Cons

Executive leadership over Utah location are really bad with high attrition and no consistent leadership. No clear strategy, priorities constantly changing, leaders don't collaborate and work together. Culture is very toxic, local leaders are not empowered. Environment Feels very chaotic and punishing. Vaccination mandate is going to far, we don't live in Russia.
