Pros

Benefits are good and the people want to succeed.

Cons

High stress, Sr. management not on the same page. Too many initiatives with little focus on what really counts. Good people keep getting let go and we don't know why. Cox AZ has so much to be proud of and I think we are misled from the Sr. Team.

Pros

at the time I was able to work from home which was the only plus

Cons

In this role I was responsible for assisting people with issues with their cable box and internet while working from home in the pandemic. People were stressed to the max during the pandemic especially when the internet went out while they were trying to work from home. While dealing with stressed out customers this company cared less about us solving the problem and more about is reading from a script on the screen and trying to find a moment in the call to try to upsell them yes you read that correct on top of dealing with upset customers we had sales quotas to worry about as well which overshadow actually helping people. I was eventully terminated because during this time of high tension with customers one of them called me a racial slur on a phone call. Out of anger I did not handle the call in the textbook corporate way. even though I signed off, told my supervisor about what happened and asked to have a break so that I could emotionally get myself together. The next day they had a meeting with me in microsoft teams and all the kept focusing on was how I handled the call vs me being emotionally upset about disrespectfully being a called a racial slur and they fired me during that meeting.
