Pros

The pay is very good. The benefits are second to none. You just have to tolerate being in "the hood". Even if you live in the hood, don't act like it at work. Leave that mess at your house.

Cons

Too many hoodrats, ghetto talking folk, and bad attitudes. Don't understand how they got hired in the first place. Too many females with visible tattoos and revealing outfits. Flip flops and bad weaves, and worse attitudes. Don't know how much longer I will be here. I feel sorry for Pat Esser. I like him alot.

Pros

The company pays well and offers many daily and monthly sales incentives. They give their employees a moderate amount of empowerment and isn't too concerned about much as long as you show up and meet your metrics.

Cons

There was originally no standard for corrective action for poor stat performance. Once they enacted a write up process, they lowered all of their standards (even though the goals were absolutely attainable). The company restructured their customer service and uses third party call centers for about 60% of their calls which leads to a poor experience for the customer. The company itself is a follower in the industry and aligns many of its practices with what other companies are doing instead of taking the lead in culture and innovation.

Pros

My co workers are a great group of people to work with, Courtesy Services provides all Cox services at a discounted price is a perk, there is always some type of event that provides free lunch or giveaway.

Cons

The work schedules are the worst they care nothing about seniority someone new can come in and get a better schedule than you. 6 week training was a joke it did not prepare you at all for the types of call or scenarios that you really deal with. They pay is also pretty bad you are required to not just only troubleshoot with customers but to help other agents, fix work orders, and sell, they want you to push their products more then anything, and when applying for any positions is all about who you know as opposed to how qualified you are,.
