Pros

Good communication within departments Most leaders within collections are extremely understanding and willing to teach all reps. Very apparent ways to promote inside the company, ample opportunities to try new departments and different specialities. You do not feel like you are forced to stay in your department. Benefits are amazing: good 401k, good amount of holidays and PTO.

Cons

Mediocre communication between departments Some leaders are in position purely because they didn't have many other options or because they are good at the political game.

Pros

Potential to make good money

Cons

Horrible company culture. Upper management/ HR are virtually useless here. Literally anything goes for the employees they like. I have watched them look the other way as people make unethical sales, lie to customers, and cheat the system constantly. There have been a few cases of people in management in HR sleeping with people in other departments, and sometimes they care; sometimes they just look the other way. It’s a very toxic environment. I have never seen a company shove their political beliefs down your throat like Cox does (literally everyday). Very high turnover rate in nearly every department.

Pros

Loved working at Cox. It is a great place to grow and get expereince for finance professionals. If you want to be involved in more FP&A/Planning type work they have teams dedicated to that. If you prefer more business case/finance partnership work, they have a "Business Operations" you could work under. Great salary, benefits, people and projects in my opinion.

Cons

Career growth and promotions are highly competitive. Cox is mostly about "who you know" in order to get promoted to managerial positions. This is the only con I can think of.
