      Pros

      Cox has the best benefits of any company I have ever worked with, and the cost is extremely low as compared to other companies. Great work/life balance. The family is very supportive of its employees.

      Cons

      Upper management can be hesitant in taking risks, and is satisfied with the status quo. It can be difficult to move ahead due to entrenched leadership in some areas of the company.

      Pros

      No micro-managing. Encourage creativity and innovation. A wonderful campus with amenities such as 2 cafes and 2 gyms. They stay on top of cutting edge technology. You'll always have a speedy laptop and any any other tools needed to complete your work. Great benefits with a fully funded pension plan and retiree healthcare package. Competitive pay. Great people and relaxed environment. A place where you actually want to come and work.

      Cons

      Depending on your department, upward growth becomes a challenge. This may not be the case in every department but I've seen mid level positions recruited from outside when fully competent, knowledgable and capable people already exist within the department.

      Pros

      Good Pay & Benefits. Pretty stable. They treat employees pretty well. The culture of Cox is nice and stable yet Cox is still very cutting edge and entrepeneurial.

      Cons

      Not a lot of personal growth or training. Lean staff and overworked employees. Too much upper management. Need more workers in the trenches.
