Pros

-The people who work at the home office are incredible. -The restaurant industry is constantly changing which in turn keeps the job fresh. -High standards of accountability. -Team driven atmosphere. -Willing to promote you when you are ready, not because you have been there for x years.

Cons

-401K match is well below other companies in the area -Very against working from home -Salary is below industry standards as well as other companies in the area. Cracker Barrel refuses to recognize that they are competing for talent in Nashville, not Lebanon.

Pros

Room for advancement, decent pay. Some flexibility in executing ideas for shift improvement.

Cons

Unrealistic labor constraints that negatively impact guest service, managers constantly pulled in too many directions, too many moving parts. Crazy hours and bad scheduling. No life outside of work, work every holiday, work most weekends, no sick days I missed 3 days in 3 years do to illness and had to make them up on a 6 day work week. Had to wear a dress shirt and tie to work kitchen shifts, be prepared to spend a lot on your wardrobe when you get grease on your nice clothes. How much more time do you have?

Pros

Coworkers and managers are great to work with. You can buy food at 50% discount 30 minutes before or after your shift. Good benefits once you reach certain milestones in the company (i.e. More than 2 years and 4 star on their PAR system.)

Cons

Really non-stop workload, not even a minute. No breaks. Even if you are allowed to go to the bath or take some minutes off, the workload will accumulate and it will be worst later.
