      Pros

      I worked at a Cracker Barrel as a Prep Cook, making salads and desserts. The work was enjoyable if you don't mind working by yourself. Other workers in the kitchen were friendly and helped pass the time. Breaks and lunch time were adequate.

      Cons

      This job wasn't at all related to my interestes or my field of study. It was something that helped me get by during college.

      -Discount on Cracker Barrel products -Most guests are nice -No tip sharing -Opportunity to cross-train in multiple positions

      Cons

      -Training program is underwhelming. You will spend a couple of very short days shadowing a trainer. Not nearly enough training to learn everything you need to know. -The time you're scheduled to leave is actually the time you stop accepting tables. Depending on the day, it could be up to an hour and a half after you are scheduled to leave before you actually do. -Can be impossible to get a break. -Teamwork is virtually non-existent. -Management screams at the employees in front of each other. If you're anywhere in the back of the house, you can hear it.
