Micro management is the culture. Leadership had very little understanding of the core business (usually what happens when you get into an industry by acquisition) , and no strategic vision that goes beyond a quarter. They are so worried about the stock price that they do not have the courage or the confidence in their ownership of the industry they’re in to establish a vision , defend it, nor the discipline to see it through.

Departments are getting burnt out fast with little effort to replace people who have left the business while other departments are paying people to just sit there all day.
