Pros

Salary, 401k Match, Access to benefits (although medical is very very high cost and high deductible plan)

Cons

Lack of integrity from management towards employees and customers. If you are a current customer - run, do not walk from this company if you value a transparent relationship and would like to work with a company who values your business. If you are looking to work at CPI, know your management team will be unethical and throw you under the bus when they fail. There is no win win here. The management teams here are some of the most mis-leading dishonest people in the industry.

Pros

Office is decent. Location is ok if you live in the western Philadelphia suburbs (close to major highways)

Cons

Be wary of some of the good reviews. Both the overall and CEO approval ratings have gone up in recent months; an effort to help curb a lot of negative responses. How to put this lightly...CPI is a sinking ship. They cannot attract new talent for a variety of reasons; pay, location, benefits, etc. Those, who had the means to do so, have already left. Good associates with a wealth of experience and knowledge with previous iterations of CPI (MEI, Mars) have either long since left or, as they were usually well-compensated, been terminated. What’s left is incompetent management with a lack of quality associates. Since acquiring MEI from Bain Capital, Crane Co has slowly, but surely, squeezed the profit and from this once thriving company. If this version of “lean” was their goal, they’ve definitely succeeded.
