Pros

Everyone seems really motivated by our mission. We are pretty fast and nimble still. Great ownership of my work and own big projects. Really friendly people across the organization. Work/life balance is a reality. Most execs are really approachable

Cons

Some pains from growing fast, not much process in place. Communication across teams is a bigger problem than expected.

Pros

Credit Karma, Inc. is growing fast, has received a lot of funding, and is hiring very fast. They are located in a great area in the Financial District of San Francisco with easy access from BART. The office is casual, decorated nicely, and the kitchen is stocked enough (you may be disappointed if you have worked at other more generous startups in the area).

Cons

There seems to be a lot of politics and nepotism in the company. It seems as though your ticket to success is based on how well-liked you or your team is with upper management rather than on actual job performance. Credit Karma and most of upper management like to claim that there is an open door policy but it's just not true. The CEO is very standoffish and doesn't know everyone's name as someone claimed in another review (they're hiring like crazy - there's no way he could) and most of upper management seems to have checked-out (cashed-out) with the recent financial success. Hiring and growth is happening too fast.
