Pros

The product is awesome. It's not often you get to work for a company that has such a strong goal to be customer orientated. The member support team send out weekly examples of customer testimonials that are amazing to read. Tons of challenges to surmount. As a technical person you will never be bored or lack for interesting issues to tackle.

Cons

At the pace the company is growing, they have had a hard time maintaining the level of talent and some of the newer staff have not taken the time to absorb the Credit Karma culture and way of doing things, and start making changes without understanding the effect of those changes. Your thoughtfulness and passion for our mission are truly appreciated. You were with us for a long time and have contributed a lot to Credit Karma's success and growth. Even though you've moved on, I'd still be interested to hear your feedback on actions we can be taking to preserve the great culture we've created here: executiveteam@creditkarma.com. -Ken

Pros

Working at Credit Karma has been a rollercoaster, but a fun and challenging ride! We have snacks on every floor of our building, better options than most startups. We even have eggs! There are weekly executive townhalls where we have an open forum to see new releases, ask questions and hear updates straight from Ken. If we don't want to bring something up, there is an open door policy that I have used many times. I also like that the perks are improving as we grow i.e. gym reimbursement, happy hours, etc.

Cons

It's no secret that Credit Karma is growing, fast. I think sometimes the culture can be seen as more of a word, than an action. But they are really trying. Some departments are still struggling to level up, but I've seen quite a few recent hires that are helping

We appreciate your advice on how we can empower the culture to develop based on our employees. Want to grab a coffee (or tea!)? We'd welcome additional feedback and ideas. It sounds like you value working on our product and enjoy the people. Brainstorming ways to preserve our culture as we grow would be fun. Let me know what you think!
