Pros

- Pro-consumer product that gives you a sense of pride & accomplishment at the end of the day - Open culture where employees are given trust & space to do their work. - Co-workers are talented & motivated: people like to get things done and make an impact. - Heavily analytics driven decision-making which permeates all aspects of the company. - Plenty of interesting challenges to tackle (too much so - we can't hire fast enough!). - Employee benefits are all top notch: 401k, health benefits, constant company outings & game nights, fully stocked kitchens, and a coffee lover's haven.

Cons

With the growth that the company is experiencing, aspects of team structure & office dynamics tend to be in constant flux. The growing pains are handled well overall, but it can be a bit jarring at times if you're not used to a rapid growth environment.

Pros

Smart, capable coworkers many of whom are burned out but still doing their best. Solid pay and benefits, which is likely the only reason many stay. Opportunities to work on interesting projects (if you're in the right crowd)

Cons

Very cliquey and political; success feels more tied to popularity than performance. Constant pressure to do more with fewer people, shrinking budgets, and unclear direction. Culture of overwork and under appreciation, especially for roles that operate behind the scenes or outside the spotlight. Work-life balance is talked about often, but rarely respected in practice "depending on your location". Some leaders view family obligations or boundaries as signs of weak commitment. Some higher senior leadership don't see operational reality or don’t believe in tech debt as a real issue. Morale is low across departments, people talk about it constantly, but no one above listens. The cycle is: survive, get paid, burn out, exit quietly.

Good to learn, bad for growth

Pros

Pay and benefits are exceptional, that's where the Pro's end.

Cons

The company moves extremely slow - the levels of bureaucracy are outrageous and executive management is completely divorced from the process. Lots of talking talking and talking. I've never worked at a place where people spent more time talking about projects than actually committing to them and working on them. You can be a top performer and yet get passed up for recognition, forget about promotions. The company has a mob mentality, I've not seen this much gossip since a high school dance.
