Although they try to focus on their employee’s leadership development weekly, they don’t look to their current employees to fill higher positions. Instead, they look towards outside hires with more experience instead of building upon their own employee’s skillset. This lack of investment leads to little room for growth in the credit union. There is no set leadership program, leaving development up to ourselves via independent learning. Some sales and membership goals are unrealistic for a few branches and roles. A few departments have poor communication and technical skills, making it challenging to find a solution to issues at times.
