Cons
Crestron builds some good quality AV solutions however working at Crestron is not a stable career move. The company is run by one person and driven by 3 VPs that parrot whatever the president says that day. There has been very little outside upper management influence so from a leadership standpoint, it's a very immature monarchy at the top. From a sales standpoint, there are annual goals given however it is managed on a monthly and daily basis. Strategic partnerships with dealers and enterprise customers are discussed however monthly and daily tactical actions are what is measured. Individual achievement is lauded and rewarded however you will find that a higher level manager will use you as a scapegoat internally and should the need arise, you will be walked to the door. I will say that internally there are some of the best technical and support people in the business at Crestron, that truly care about the customer and field sales but they will always submit to the will of punitive upper management to save their jobs. Overall, it's a nice addition to a resume for which you will be compensated fairly however if stability, security or morality is of importance to you than this may not be the place for you to work.
