pays great, because the government needs you. CTI does not pay great benefits

Cons

no benefits. meager 401k. you are a cog in a machine, not a valued employee

Pros

Managers care about workers and provide flexibility. Very relaxed atmosphere where people enjoy working. Senior management are all hired from large corporations and have extensive experience

Cons

Benefits aren't great and most jobs are tied to a contract. If the contract is lost so are the jobs associated with it. Very limited room for promotion.

Pros

The people that work contracts for this company are dedicated and committed to their work, and to one another. There is no greater group of people to work with. Corporate has usually made good choices in facilitating an environment that encourages this.

Cons

Corporate went through some staff turnover and a leadership change in the past few years, and in the course of that change, they lost some of the connection they had with their employees. Communication has always been an issue within corporate hq.
