Overall good, inconsistent leadership

Pros

Autonomy, provided necessary resources, out of the box thinking, supportive (mostly), not great health benefits because of low participation rate, tuition reimbursement (though that may be gone now)

Cons

Leadership, inconsistent direction/vision, follows whims that are "hot" with little planning of how to handle the management of new contract, nepotism

Pros

Constantly pushing the envelope in discovering new learning and development practices. All challenges are never answered with why; rather, they are answered with why not. The management looks within for ideas and innovation. It is fun to come to work knowing that you are more than just a drone in the workforce. You have the potential to shape the organization and help it's overall success.

Cons

Continuing to pursue DoD contracts exclusively limits the scope of the organization's potential. The solutions in place could help in the civilian business sector as well. Why constrain your talent?

Great place to work where employees are valued and you can make a difference

Pros

CTI is very supportive of their employees. They strive to meet and grow their employees in many different areas including education. It is the first employer that I have worked for that does an annual survey for each department in the corporate structure, reports the results (good and bad) to the employees, outlines what they are doing or going to do to improve in the areas they were marked low.

Cons

CTI has a very diverse work group across the world and so sometimes understanding of local issues can be a little lean.
