Pros

Work-life balance is decent compared to larger consulting firms, and you can meet some really great people here. Ability to get staffed on projects that align with your interests.

Cons

CC was previously a great place to work, especially when the focus was on its people and strong company culture. However, recent changes in leadership and priorities seems to have introduced a different approach, which has shifted the culture in a way that feels far less people-oriented. While the new leaders bring valuable experience and business opportunities, their approach seems to diverge from CC's original core values. The atmosphere, which used to feel warm, caring, and personable, has become faster-paced, curt, and less relationship-driven. CC used to feel like a reprieve from the Big 4 environment but has increasingly started to feel more like the Big 4 environment. This feedback has been shared with leadership through various channels, though the response has largely reflected a lack of acknowledgment toward employees' concerns. While CC remains a decent place to work, it’s disappointing to witness the company move away from what once made it unique in the market and its commitment to delivering a "Better Experience."

Pros

The people in the trenches with you work hard. But mgmt doesn't reward anyone.

Cons

Unethical and unprofessional. Consistent and worsening culture of fear. No support or vision from above. Very very messy team structures. No career paths. Incredibly rude leadership.

Pros

The company once had a truly differentiated culture that attracted talented people and strong client relationships. From roughly 2015–2023, it was a place where collaboration, trust, and entrepreneurial thinking were encouraged. Leadership historically empowered teams and created an environment where people felt invested in the firm’s success. That culture enabled strong growth and a reputation for high-quality delivery. Not anymore... The firm built a strong brand in the market based on client service, practical problem solving, and a willingness to do what was best for the client rather than simply maximizing revenue opportunities. It has since dissolved. Few talented professionals remain who care deeply about the organization and its success.

Cons

Over the past few years, the culture that once made the company special has eroded significantly. Many long-tenured employees feel like they are mourning the firm that existed from 2015–2023. There is a growing perception that senior leadership is disconnected from what employees and delivery teams are experiencing on the ground. The shift in ownership and focus toward maximizing financial outcomes appears to have placed disproportionate emphasis on short-term revenue generation rather than long-term client relationships and service quality. Delivery quality and customer service have suffered as a result. The firm historically prioritized doing what was right for the client; today many employees feel pressure to prioritize revenue opportunities instead. Talent retention has become a major challenge. Many of the individuals who helped build the firm’s culture and delivery reputation have left, and morale among remaining employees has declined. Sales expectations have become increasingly aggressive without the necessary infrastructure to support them. Teams are being asked to meet unrealistic goals without sufficient training, resources, funding, or support. This creates frustration and a sense that expectations are unfair or unattainable. These internal challenges are increasingly reflected externally through employee reviews and reputation in the market.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We appreciate the candid feedback and recognize the high standard our culture and client service set in earlier years. We take concerns around leadership connection, evolving priorities, and team support seriously. As we continue to grow, we are focused on strengthening alignment, investing in our people, and reinforcing the values that have long defined our firm.
