      Nothing that comes to mind.

      Cons

      Some of the south east asian managers in the USA are pain to work under them. The immediate management is inconsiderate, biased, micro-managing and timid. Management advocates for open feedback. The moment one shares candid feedback, they will punish in discreet ways and make you feel miserable. Lack of transparency and be ready for frequent re-orgs. Vice-president and above have their own vision. Directors and managers vision is different from executive leadership. Professional growth only if you oblige and pamper your manager. No retros at the end of the quarter, treat employees as another cog in the wheel, no skip level 1:1s. Lacks competitive pay, no work life balance, emotionally toxic culture. Team members are the least helpful.

      Stressful and Orwellian

      Pros

      Impressive cutting-edge technology and product. Some of the smartest and most qualified engineers in the industry. Opportunities for career development and leadership growth. High salary and good stock options. Great off-sites (when they still had them).

      Cons

      Working 10+ hour days and weekends was normal and often expected. Once a supervisor called me on vacation to get work done - and told me to get used to it. Lots of creepy IT software on work machines without a competent enough team to manage it, resulting in frequent work loss and interruptions. HR seemed to be monitoring every communication for "wrong-think" and made me feel very uncomfortable. Virtually no opportunities to interact with senior leadership team, who only communicated through one-way announcements and absurd motivational speeches. 401k and donation matching was low, while healthcare premiums were high.

      Toxic Work Environment

      Pros

      Most folks opt to leave their webcams off during meetings.

      Cons

      Extreme amounts of nepotism Toxic and uncaring coworkers Bullying and harassment Incompetent and uncaring managers Abysmal team culture "Rockstar" employees encouraged I brought up concerns over harassment and bullying by two of my immediate peers with management, and I was met with a response that I was supposed to "man up".
