Culture is Extremely Toxic

Pros

The compensation is ok, stock options are nice.

Cons

The Technical Support team is unlike anything I've seen before. The processes are fundamentally broken, advancement is unachievable for most, we have more work than anyone should realistically expect, and ultimately the customers pay the price. Clearly, the employees driving change don't understand what the TSE's do or how they operate. Management has been given input, but they're either not hearing us, or not passing that information along to senior leadership. I also can't believe how unprofessional I've seen senior leadership act around the Technical Support team. The entire Technical Support team was just subject to the worst behavior I've ever seen from senior leadership in my career, and I'm shocked this behavior is tolerated at CS. My recommendation is to stay away until this is cleared up.

Impossible to complete any task due to constantly shifting priorities No work/life balance at all Very little career development Limited skills growth Too much talk about the culture, and no real evidence of how great it is

Pros

I firmly believe in the product. Market leader.

Cons

Company doesn’t live by its core values. Unethical behavior by managers is tolerated, so I assume this problem goes all the way up to the top. The Security organization has an unhealthy culture where verbal abuse and bullying is tolerated. CEO George Kurtz must know about this, but nothing happens to CSO Shaun Henry or his leadership team. There is no anti-bullying policy and, even if there were, HR is useless and only exists to protect the company. They will say “talk to your HR business partner” but by doing so, you out yourself and then become the target of reprisals. The “Code of Ethics and Business Conduct” is a sham. I feel sorry for anyone who actually reports a concern only to be made miserable so that they leave the company.

That being said, we're doing our best to ensure all of our departments are properly supported and all managers have the training they need to help us continue to build and maintain a healthy work environment. We appreciate your feedback and will pass these comments along to the team. Best of luck in your new endeavors.
