      Pros

      The company has a rich history and feeling of pride in the company. The commitment to safety and operational integrity is inspiring and reassuring. The company treats long-standing employees very well.

      Cons

      It is easy for a loyal but mediocre employees to move up the ranks over the years. As a result, the quality of work is compromised.

      Crowley has a good benefits package

      Cons

      Working in Crowley IT is way more stressful than it needs to be. The IT department is woefully understaffed, resulting in quick burnout and lots of things not getting done. IT management desperately wants respect from business stakeholders, but with the current structure and management style, it's not going to happen. technology upgrades take way to long, and Crowley has come up with its own implementation methodology that is just, well, a joke. Processes are defined and never followed, and management backpedals at their convenience, creating further confusion. Furthermore, people get thrown under buses all too frequently, and management tends to point out what you're doing wrong more than what you're doing right.

      Full Benefits, very flexible, management is very laid back in some areas, very friendly, and a nice place to work.

      Cons

      Mobility and management is selected by relationships, not performances.
