There is a major focus on mergers and acquisitions, so much so that the company continues to grow with little thought going into combining processes and systems even years after said merger. We’ve been told recently that we’ll need to do more with less employees and resources due to budget cuts. Virtually zero acknowledgement of ongoing cultural and global issues that directly affect a major portion of their client and employee base. Long hours are expected with no compensatory benefit given which in turn negatively affects work-life balance. No communication and no oversight or understanding between management and lower level employees. Many people were promised opportunities for advancement within the company only for management to backtrack on that promise after the fact.
