      Great Way to Enter the IT Field. But Expect Poor Pay and Working Conditions as a Result.

      Pros

      A great gateway to the IT field. Offers free training assessments and materials for individuals to jump start their career in information technology. A major stepping stone for real jobs out there in the field.

      Cons

      Poor Benefits for Temporary Workers. "Temporary" status could last for months. Expect ridiculously poor pay with this status and no benefits whatsoever. The jobs are not challenging enough and there is a general sense of relative ease when doing the jobs. Poor communication with managers.

      Pros

      Pretty good benefits, medical, dental, mileage reimbursement. The training program was good as well, they paid you with a gift card for every certification that you got while working there. Good place to rack up on Certifications.

      Cons

      Working at a client site, definitely felt a disconnect from the offices of Custom Computer. I felt like I worked for the client site more then Custom. Made going to Christmas party awkward, when I would meet with all of the other Custom employees that I did not know, just for one example. They pay here is also very low, being that you are contracted to another company, and they can only pay you but so much money so that Custom can make money from where you are contracted to, though this is to be expected.
