Bleed blue, work long hours, or get out.

Pros

This field requires five words.

Cons

If you don't drink the blue kool-aid and won't put in overtime consistently, then you will have a target on your back. At company meetings, they ask you to tell your family and loved ones that you have to put in more time because you are making a great product. This was one of the most hostile work environments in my professional career, I was given projects with conflicting requirements, and the end result was always incorrect. If your life goals include being a "yes" person, having to suck up to management daily, reinvent the wheel weekly, and work in a "team" environment where the team will stab you in the back every chance they get, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, move on. They probably have an entire team writing great reviews about this company, don't believe all of those. Search for the reviews that talk about work/life balance, those are the real ones.

Pros

cool building/ location, great relationship with fellow teammates in same role

Cons

MANAGEMENT IS TERRIBLE: completely micromanaged and treated like a kindergartner no matter the age, no actual value added from meetings and conversations with them, upper management has no idea what we experience on the phones and what are daily activity looks like, they track every single thing you do and publicly shame you for low performance, activity, hours worked etc. there is little to no opportunity for growth and most quit before they make it there any ways rather than being honorable during this pandemic and laying off employee because NO ONE IS HOSTING EVENTS AND WE AREN'T MAKING MONEY they have decided to fire my fellow teammates and more on the excuse of performance All sales employees are miserable, burnt out because they expert higher activity than normal during these horrendous times, and are depressed They keep firing while also losing great employees to better companies and will soon be nothing - I can't wait to have another offer so I can jump ship too

Don't Do It

Pros

Other departments seem to be a lot healthier to work in

Cons

If you ever have the opportunity to join this company, do NOT do it in the Client Success Advisor role. You will be: 1.) Micromanaged 2.) Expected to perform unrealistic metrics regardless of circumstance (i.e. they still expect you to get the same number of Sales Opps even though we're in a global pandemic and event planners are being laid off left and right) 3.) Underpaid 4.) Expected "not" to go over 42.5 hrs 5.) Will not receive the same opportunities to contribute to the CSA team if you're in a remote/non-HQ office (i.e. Dallas, London, Portland, India, etc.) 6.) Be forced in a 2 year contract 7.) Will not have any previous career experience respected 8.) Will be left out if you're not in the OG in-crowd 9.) Constantly confused with forever changing responsibilities and the judged instantly on them 10.) Will not be trained to do your job adequately enough This is not a role for someone who has previous work experience. Regardless of how much experience that is, you WILL get treated like a recent college graduate in their first professional job. CSA leadership does not care. Allegedly they are stressed about the turnover on a normal day and yet do nothing to try to understand why. Some of the KPIs they enforce are completely subjective to your manager's opinion, not fact. Depending on your manager, they will be ruthless about you asking for help as well. It's a fear driven culture that you should not be apart of.
