      Great Exterior, Less than Ideal Interior

      Pros

      - Great brand recognition - Fun perks (parties, happy hours, swag, etc.) - Very established in processes and structure

      Cons

      - Severly under paid - Uses fun perks as ways to get you to over work (mindset of "work hard, play hard") - Toxic leadership - Very insetual (if you're on their good side, you're good but if not, you're outcast)

      Welcoming environment, okay salary, average health benefits, international employee base

      Cons

      Terrible culture, conservative with titles, inefficient processes, snobby senior leadership, lots of employees leaving, they make you take a test when going through the interview process, forcing people into the office, low 401k match (plus you have to wait 6 months), evaluations are done poorly (3.5 our of 5 means you did well, to get a 5 our of 5 you have to cure cancer)

      For early career, not a bad place to start. Collegial atmosphere and “fun” culture.

      Cvent thinks too small, moves too slow. Cvent is what happens when a company is able to create a critical mass in a huge market….just successful enough to stay the in the lead, but never able to realize it’s full potential. Experienced hires often struggle to acclimate to the Cvent culture, There is considerable turnover in this group - often senior leaders, that do not ‘blend’ at Cvent. Cvent rewards loyalty and routinely promotes mediocre talent. High-performers and high-potentials see this and move on. This company will always be “what might have been?”
