Toxic environment is putting it lightly.

Pros

The pay was OK. Remote for some teams, but so many employees have a butts in seats mentality, that they needlessly go into the office to further brown nose.

Cons

Where to start? First of all, they recruited me upon empty promises. The end users are great - I feel bad for them. All that matters to employees is the all male, all white boomer C-Suite Team and their extremely outdated "vision" that isn't rooted in reality, modernity or customer needs. The entire company is now built around being a yes man (Man being the key word here). If you advocate for end users or try to improve processes (there are NONE - they don't know how to manage time or use modern technology and make it your problem) you will get in trouble. People act passive-aggressive and toxic across the board. Extremely cliquey. Soooo many needless "leaders" who know and do nothing all day. Again, you're punished if you do actually try to enact change or do your job. The same does NOT go for the random friends the C-Suite hires on as consultants to needlessly duplicate existing work in an effort to appeal to the CEO. The only remaining employees are sycophants. While I do care for the end user, I can't wait for this company to finally fail. Very pervasive Good Ole Boys club throughout. Not good at all for women or POC. I honestly am surprised no one has taken legal action against them at this rate. Just unprofessional and sad.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We’re disappointed to hear your perspective on our culture and leadership team; we deeply value diversity and are committed to breaking down barriers to entry, both at Cybrary and in the field of cybersecurity. We closely partner with leadership, our team members, and our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Employee Resource Group to ensure we are on the right path and, while we have more work to do, we are pleased that 42.9% of our leaders at Cybrary are women. One of the many ways we work to ensure a positive experience for all of our team members is via our team member surveys. These surveys are distributed at least twice per year and are specifically set up to give our team members an anonymous platform where they can share candid feedback. After each survey is complete, we create and execute action plans based on the feedback we receive. This year, for example, we have implemented leadership training and process improvements based on our team members’ input. We value all of our current and former employees' feedback, and we welcome you to reach out to us directly at any time to dive deeper and share any ideas you may have for improvement. Thanks again for your feedback; it helps us make Cybrary a better company for everyone.

A Terrible Place to Work

Pros

I just need to fill this space.

Cons

- Forcing people to come into the office during a pandemic when you are on one team, but not forcing others on other teams in the org. - Low pay - Product team doesn't actually listen to the client feedback, even when people are screaming that the product is terrible or signing on with other platforms. - Micromanagement. A LOT - Leadership is basically a popularity contest of who they like and don't like. - Burn out is real here.

Pros

*Free coffee and lunch *Flexible work schedule

Cons

*Meetings Galore. Every minute a meeting for the most simplest thing. *Hovering and Micromanaging so much that you will dislike your job. *Trying to force SCRUM down everyone's throat and is usually used as a tool to micromanage. *More than half of the leadership is bad. They have a 'white boy only club' culture going on for the executive. *They try to buy your happiness with gift cards. *The company is not making money and the goals are not transparent about that. *They have been firing folks and telling everyone they decided to leave abruptly. *They will promise 401K but nothing will happen.
