Pros
Steady work. Good benefits. Not the highest pay in the industry, but not the lowest either.
Cons
Struggling company. Misguided leadership. Lack of skill in many departmental leadership roles. Very reactionary culture (due to lack of skill or knowledge). Last month's graphs dictate next week's actions, so it's perpetually a losing battle. They use a "fix by committee" approach because there is no fundamental competence or accountability, and no one is expected to take ownership. Consequentially, no actual improvements are ever made (on the contrary, the outside intervention generally is a detriment to progress) because there are no experts designing the improvements.
