Incompetent leadership and poor decision making

Pros

The building is ridiculously nice as is the location right on bay trail.

Cons

Leadership positions are held by individuals who don't have the right skill sets nor expertise, yet the try to micromanage their teams. Employees are respected primarily based on their title and not their contributions. Hiring strategies and build-out of capabilities is overly complex for a small pipeline of late-stage assets. Cross-functional communication is very poor, and short-sighted decisions are made, leading to chaos and scrambling and a dysfunctional organization.

Pros

Great benefits. The people are super welcoming and friendly. The company is mid-sized so your ideas can still have a significant impact in shaping the future. The CEO is very transparent and inclusive of all employees in meetings regarding company operations.

Cons

The pipeline is limited even though the company existed since the late 1990s, but it is starting to make waves and there is a ton of potential for individuals willing to contribute value to the company.

They offer employees great perks.

Cons

They are too top heavy and don't listen to the actual people who carry out the task. Easy to formulate a plan on paper when your not the one executing it.
