Pros

Very large organization that is the number one homebuilder in America. That gives you a lot of leverage when dealing with vendors or trades to negotiate pricing and quality of work.

Cons

The division I'm currently in keeps a small footprint which helps with our overhead, but it creates a constant tension between employees who view their workload as potentially overstated vs. their payscale. During this economic downturn that is something that I've viewed as necessary though.

Pros

The product a sales rep is asked to market is first rate for the pricepoint. Awesome buildingmanagers for each community, and a management team that listens and looks before they leap into a community

Cons

As with most builders, the commission only stricture. Need to find a way to pay trips salary plus bonus, or, at least continue to pay a draw against commission earned. Benefits reasonable, but could be better.
