Pros

High volume sales and great pay

Cons

They work you like a slave, there is no work-life balance, and most people end up divorced and in the hospital due to the insane amount of stress. Average tenure is 3 years for this position, but if you can stick it out for 3 years, it's potentially life-changing money. They have intentionally created an environment where only the strong survive. Have an exit-strategy and a back up plan for when things hit the fan.

Plenty of work and you get exposed to a lot of different aspects of construction management.

Cons

Pay is heavily dependent on bonuses on houses and the goals that are set are quite difficult to achieve at times.

Pros

Paid well and good insurance

Cons

Some people were snobby and thought they knew more than they actually do. Some Super Intendents took shortcuts to the house building process and it definitely showed in the final product.
