Pros

Sometimes nice people from other offices come to the DC office.

Cons

I felt the need to reiterate that for the DC office, refer to the reviews for Sorg Architects, as DLR Group acquired Sorg over the summer. Unfortunately, all of the Sorg management remained in position after the acquisition. Don't let the shiny new DLR Group suggest that things have changed...Sorg management in the DC office is unspeakably horrible.

Pros

Lots of resources and stability with a large firm like DLR. Opportunities to move up within the company, NCARB licensing facilitation, and good design ideals. Decent but not stellar benefits

Cons

Projects were sometimes assigned to remote offices, so a project team wouldn't be able to regularly visit the construction site or develop a design that properly responded to its context.
