Pros

There are literally no pros to working for this company.

Cons

The training is god awful after “getting the job” you are tested throughout the entire training process. You are not even guaranteed the job until you graduate the training throughout the training they make you complete ridiculous tasks in order to graduate. They will make it seem like it’s a good place to be and that you can make a good income. They sell people on excitement of making a lot of money which is not true. The training managers don’t have any boundaries, they dig into peoples traumas, they don’t let you use the restroom when necessary, they don’t care about medical conditions, and don’t set proper expectations. Then after you graduate they give you one lousy uniform and you have to wear the same shirt every day. You are expected to be in the office every day from 8:00am until 10:00 am and you are not paid to go to these “trainings”. They don’t train you in the office at all. It is a room full of inappropriate men who have zero boundaries. The inappropriate comments every day for hours on end including from the manager are disgusting and made me feel so uncomfortable. The management at Dabella is an out right joke. They do not care about their employees and customers as human beings. You will have to work from 8am to sometimes even 10pm making less than minimum wage. You are expected to drive hours a day and are not compensated for drive time or gas. You go into homeowners houses alone sometimes even if it is unsafe. You are expected to sell within the first week that you start and are forced to pressure home owners into loans they can’t afford. I have been to appointments with other representatives and they lied to the homeowners about the condition of their home just to make a sale. They also came up with excuses as to why paychecks were incorrect or why pay wasn’t on time. My paycheck was messed up on many different accounts and the company would say they were sorry and they would fix it but there is no one to talk to to fix it. Even the HR department is so backed up you can’t even get ahold of them. The most you can do is send an email to HR and hope they get back to you. The communication of the company is out right embarrassing. I quite literally joined therapy after working for this company because of how they effected my mental and physical health. I wrote this to save anyone who takes the time to read this from this company. I advise anyone against using dabella as a contractor or working for them, It will save you.

Pros

learned the very basics of accounting

Cons

Breaking policy to generate revenue; regular audits of Teams messages (no trust of employees); constant “process improvements” that simply don’t help and lead to more work; unprecedented growth without the procedures to handle it; not getting PTO approved when you have earned and accrued it; expensive benefits; blatant mishandling of company assets. Coming into a brand new department after the entire previous team walked out was a waving red flag. The team does not have access to the accounts or training on taxes, revenue, and expenses. This on its own is a huge red flag, but it was an entry level position and I had no experience when I started. There is no communication or operating procedures regarding communicating or working with other departments. Departments are very siloed and clueless to the activities of other teams. Even though they are ONLY in-person there is no useful communication that occurs in-office and the entire company could work from home.
