Pros

Not sure I can really say there’s any benefit to working with the horrible company. Maybe if you get lucky you can make pretty good money.

Cons

Oh boy... Management is problematic and extremely inappropriate, sexist, homophobic, and at times racist. They tell you their big plans, talk about how much money you will make if you just work crazy hours and drive hours out of your way to show up and no one is home. To clarify, a team of appointment setters are sent out to set up “free home inspections,” but regardless of the state of their roof or siding you will be making up a reason to give them an hour and a half long presentation and HARD sell them on externally inflated pricing for sub contractors to come out and do work other folks would do for half the price. Half the time if you sell your appointment they are denied funding and you just spent your own money and time for nothing because you are a 1099. You are expected to supply everything and if you don’t have what you need they will give you a draw to buy the supplies and take it out of your first few checks (if you even make any money) Now the owner of this company has been in trouble for fraud already in another state and I’m sure he will get nailed again. This is not a good organization and sure you can make some money from time to time but you will have to lower your convictions and drink their Kool-Aid.

Pros

Decent pay if you give your life to training. Company sets and provides leads to you.

Cons

My issue herein lies among the managers of the Las Vegas branch. I believe that as a whole, the company has its merits. They give awards yearly and provide benefits in key cities (not company wide). My experience with management are they’re very much like Bulldogs. They’re the perfect salesman, but lack a substantial amount of humanity and poise. If you’re not hitting your goals they’re breathing down your neck and micromanaging, they’ll ask you to stalk homeowners outside their home until you can talk to them. It can be demeaning and deflating at times. Also, the roofing and window systems are grossly overpriced. There are 4 companies who sell our exact window product in the valley who charge roughly 30-40% less for an entire home. The roofing system has its merits, but is unrealistic for the Las Vegas market. Oh, and forget about having a life. Your leads are routed between 8am and 9am daily, so there are no options to make plans a day in advance. If you want time off, it is required you provide management with 30 days notice or you won’t get approved.

Pros

-Daily Trainings and meetings -Can make a LOT money if you are willing to commit your whole life into the job -Paid INITIAL training -Benefits

Cons

-“Family” culture is unrealistic in this company. (ie, cares about you but only if you sell) - No flexibility for hours (ie, management will ignore any schedule advances and will schedule you anyway.) - REQUIRED and UNPAID meetings/trainings (will let you go if these expectations aren’t met) - Management allows sales representatives on roofs, even though you are not insured. - Extremely disrespectful Manager on Duty (MOD switches day to day) that “push” you to pressure homeowners to buy. - Same day pressure sales - Training is irrelevant to what you sell (ie, you can get hired to sell roofs, they will send you to train in windows, and then set you on roofing appointments and you don’t know what you’re selling) - General Manager (at least for my location) will ignore everything you text or say to them and then have an entire 3 hour meeting about communication. - False sense of support system.
