Hired for 15 hour days but they neglect to tell you those 15 hours are un predictable they could extend to 17 hours. There is NO work life balance. You work short handed. No support from your peers. Everyone that works in a dialysis clinic should know how to work a machine. After all the most important part is making sure that patients get dialized. Davita encourages you to go to school but how is the possible when working a day flows over in to the day you have off . Your so exhausted the next that reflects on your personal life. If you have school and have a early schedule your exhausted from the late night work you did. If you decided to go to school in the evening you have to think about the early hours of woking the next day.

Management plays favorites. DaVita likes to find "new" ways to understand insurance companies and their logic for paying or denying claims. The problem is, despite finding something that works best, they change their practices every few months, so nothing is consistent. Also, employees are responsible for looking over roughly 10 facilities, and they make everyone change their facilities every few months as well. So when it comes to month-end close, even if you've established a good relationship with staff at your clinics, you have to start all over from scratch every few months.
