No Work Life Balance/ Upper Management Undermines Leadership Team

Flexible schedule sometimes. Freedom to organize your program the way you want.

Cons

A lot of subversive actions by upper management. Breaking the chain of command is acceptable and encouraged. Your time is never really yours. Vacation, weekends, PTO, you always feel like you have to become engaged or you're frowned upon. You absolutely have to drink the kool-aid or you will immediately realize that something is not quite right. HIgh turnover of facility administrators but no real plan in place to keep this from happening. Nursing shortages are a constant. Productivity and meeting DAILY! budget is hammered. I understand productivity but it becomes a slippery slope when you're talking about time per patient and still being safe.

Pros

Company really makes an effort to make things fun and treat employees well. Decent base pay and nice coworkers. Great benefits and lots of opportunity to move within the company if you're good at your job.

Cons

Raises are kind of a joke. I know many people who received raises of $0.30/hr or something similar at their annual review. Can be difficult to stay interested when the job is so much of the same thing from one day to the next depending on your position.

Lots of money spent of extravagant food layouts and ridiculous narcissistic meetings to impress staff.

Cons

Short staffed, cheap, overworked, no family life balance, does not care about patients just making money, some large company meetings include unlimited food and unlimited alcohol open bar. rude head people that only discourage anyone from speaking up or sharing safety opinions or concerns. Portray false cores including - yes really -"fun" as one of them. CEO and others under, many men, are clearly rolling in the money without appreciation to the ones doing all the work. Almost feels cult like how they operate, never worked anywhere so self absorbed before.
