Racist and misogynistic treatment by managers, culture of bullying and putting others down to make yourself feel better, ever increasing workload with no end in sight, allergy to transparency or accountability, and rampant nepotism. In short, people see no opportunity for growth and they start taking it out on others.
Likewise the leaders are delusional, thinking they are Palantir or the military when they have never operated at that level or scale. The result is a CEO and COO who do not feel the need to address staff, speaking only on one-way calls at All Hands meetings to an employee base that could fit in a Zoom call.
The best time to have joined Dataminr was 5-7 years ago when they had money and embraced new ideas. Today, the organization feels stagnant and bankrupt.
