- Leadership has become a real let down over the years. People understand the business is business but the human factor that made Dataminr a great place to work has vanished.
- People across multiple teams who have put so much effort into making the company what it is today have seen their dreams of going public dashed despite all the private statements internally about IPOs, we're in it together, we appreciate your hardworking etc.
- The CEO and exec leadership are missing in action. These people are great behind a camera or talking to middle management but you walk past them in the halls and they inspire no charisma.
- Leadership has also made a number of cutthroat ruthless decisions that maybe good for business and impact people's lives. Once they got what they needed out of the DE team, they fired half the team and went to AI. Once the product and design team were used and they got what they needed, AI took over their job too. Again all the internal team meetings and "we appreciate your efforts" fall on deaf ears at this point.
- I used to tell everyone what a great place Dataminr was to work and honestly it makes me sad to see the direction the CEO and leadership have taken the company.
