Pros

- Company has a good reputation and relationship with client. - Recruiter checked in with me throughout my contract assignment.

Cons

- When it became apparent that my contract role was not a good fit as it was not providing me with suitable or challenging enough projects based on my experience and the job description, my recruiter appeared to be apprehensive in helping me address this. - I felt on my own in dealing with what I felt was not a suitable contract assignment. I followed up with my recruiter on two more occasions to complain, but little support was provided. - When I heard from the recruiter’s supervisor a few days after our last conversation, I was told he was no longer with the company (no reason provided). I was then told he would be my point of contact moving forward. - Again, no real resolution was provided to the issue and I was asked if I could tough it out until the end of my contract which was months away. I did let them know it was unlikely but I would try. - After several ups and down and working through the issue on my own for another two months, I decided to finally leave the position. The Davis rep was understanding and supportive. However, I think more could have been done early on to prevent this. - Also, beware of completing a satisfaction survey that the company sends at the end of your contract period. The survey does not indicate that you will be contacted, and it gave the impression that it was anonymous because none of your personal information appears anywhere on it. If you do leave any constructive or critical feedback, expect to be hounded by your point of contact. My guess is that it impacts their performance reviews in some way. Mine would not stop calling me and then emailed me wanting to know why I left the feedback that I did. This was very unprofessional and you should not be harassed because of your survey responses.
