Great owners. And I made a lot of friends! The Davis vision is great! Or at least the thought of it.

Cons

Unfortunately, not all leadership has the same values/morals/business acumen. You need to know your market. Don’t be threatened by employees that aren’t afraid to communicate a vision and/or strategy that differs from yours. Be consistent! There’s a reason you burn through sales and account managers. I’ve NEVER worked for a company that glorifies recruiters so much, (even the bad ones) and treats sales like garbage. PSA. Recruiters don’t have jobs if they have no jobs to fill..... it’s a very “yes man” culture. Open communication and transparency is what the owners believe in. But, they have no idea what is really going on.

Technology is comparable to other agencies.

Cons

-The Executive and Sr. Leadership is ill equipped to lead at that level. They are reactionary, they are inexperienced, make poor investments, etc... -I don't think they even know how to assess performance. -Their strategic vision is changes with the wind. -Their communication is virtually non-existent. -They'll role out company wide initiatives or software implementation with almost no communication or training. -They "talk a good game" but their actions tell the real story. -Turnover has run rampant and it is a direct reflection of poor leadership, poor culture, poor investments, lack of understanding etc... etc.. and it all boils down to inexperience, immature, country club style leadership. -I would not recommend you come to work here if you have any other opportunities. If you have nowhere else to go, they will run you through a brutal training program, ran by a drill sergeant manager that is the epitome of "if you can't do, than teach". But the problem there is commissions are bad and they make the training exorbitantly hard by not letting you use any real recruiting resources. But you can get your 12-18 months and upgrade out if you make it.
