      Most employees would disagree with this review. I find most employees love working for Davis and in most cases we do keep our employees longer than the average property management company. Employees have an open door to speak with management about their concerns.

      Cons

      They do not hold their assets long term so prepare to go through a disposition if you are employed with them. Fear of not knowing how long your job will last when property is sold.

      Paying our employees for their value is not only the right thing to do, but it allows us to hire and retain some of the best people in the industry. It is common to see employees move with us as we continue to develop around the country, however we do understand this isn’t realistic for everyone.

      Pros

      Corporate is family oriented and cares a great deal about their employees.

      Cons

      Managers are not trustworthy and honest. Their work ethic doesn't seem to matter to those beneath them and they think they are "invincible" to others watching. Making them look good is more important than "doing the right thing" and throwing others under the bus is common.

      Davis does care for its employees and the actions of the management reflect that on a daily basis. The only time we seem to see disgruntle employees is when the employee is being counseled for not doing the job to the full expectation.
