If you work for the DeVry online admissions team you may be pressured to perform some unethical activities. DeVry is a for-profit institution. Thus, their primary focus is making a profit; even if it means convincing people who cannot afford a degree to obtain one. The classes at DeVry are not cheap. Also there is an immense amount of pressure placed on the admissions staff to get new students. If an employee does not recruit enough students he/she will be terminated.

Alot of pressure to make enrollment goals. Numbers seemed to be the focus and made it less rewarding. Constant training on what you could have said to get someone to enroll. Ultimately, that person has to really want to go there.
