      Pros

      At the campus, the people at DeVry were dedicated, intelligent, hard-working individuals. They believed in their students and in their work.

      Cons

      DeVry faces a lot of turmoil. Even if you're excellent at your job, there is no stability. You cannot count on having your job a year from now, twelve years from now, etc. I saw so many cuts - it was truly sad. There is no room for growth/promotions and you'll have to work most Saturdays including the Saturday before/after Christmas when students are on break if you're at a campus. Management looks to hire from the outside to save on costs. I don't believe DeVry will still be in existence 5 years from now. The company at the top cares about the dollar only, not its people or students.

      Pros

      Changing students and their families lives for the better. The opportunity to be involved in different pilot programs and initiatives. Opportunity to train new and struggling employees.

      Cons

      Lack of options for advancement if you are not one of the favorites of management. Lack of communication of changes in timely matter.
