A Company That Does NOT appreciate its employees at all

Pros

The hourly pay is good than most, and it's a job. That's about it.

Cons

Where do I start? Their bonus structure sucks. It doesn't give the leasing agents any incentive to even lease. Benefits is laughable. They pay you every 5th and 20th of the month instead of bi-weekly. That structure is understandable IF you only have about 20 employees. But Decron has more than that. They expect the resident to pay their rent in a timely manner but Decron pay their vendors late all the time. I am surprised anyone wants to work with them. You wont start 'accruing' vacation and sick days till after 180 days (90 for management). and you will only acquire about 5 days per year. I can go on and on and on... I guess if you are not desperate for a job do not work here. don't even think of sending your resume. But if you are that desperate and wants to be soooo miserable then go right ahead

The good thing about this company, is that you will learn what not to do in another property management company. If you are not certified in property management you will learn a lot about fair housing, resident relations, and what it takes to effectively run a property.

Cons

There is no culture at this company. Management is poor and you will get no support from the corporate office. It's an us against them mentality. They will constantly threaten you and your job. Pay is poor and even if you go above and beyond your scope of work, you will never be acknowledged,thanked, or rewarded. Expect endless list of priority one projects. Management will not be supportive and there is no team effort or teamwork. They expect you to do various projects on your own and even if you complete it in a timely fashion, they will find fault with what you have completed. Expect to be accountable for events that are out of your control. I don't recommend anyone to work here.

If you get to know key players at corporate they can be very helpful and will promote your success.

Cons

Ego of upper management. They are known for not treating people with respect. Instead of building you up they constantly criticize and make sure you know your place. Employees are not allowed to have a voice. They also nickel and dime employees. Company is in constant state of turnover due to lack of training and consistency.
