Pros

- Flexible in starting and ending 8hr work day - Colleagues are friendly and helpful - Good Work/Life balance as a property management accountant compared to other companies. Low stress and manageable workload. - Company does small events to build comradery like earth day, giving away company branded apparel, pride month, etc.

Cons

- SOPs and training could improve - No lunch/snacks in breakroom - Outlook for Growth potential/promotions is medial

Pros

Decron is family run. Employees are actually persons with names not just employee numbers and locations. Decron executives actively listen and ask for feedback from all team members. The renovations at the sites are top dollar. The CM's and MS's are invited to be present during all stages of the projects and their input or suggestions are considered and used at times. Decron is always willing to advance and test new software. Decron has a One Team Culture and Mission statement.

Cons

Decron is still growing, Accounting Department is too small to handle the flow from the current sites. An accounting overhaul is needed prior to adding more sites. Construction Department has been less than friendly or helpful to site teams and don't embrace the One Team One Decron mission statement.

Pros

The company grew fast and had a lot potential; It provided great training opportunities; It became better at employee appreciation (summer events, happy hours, book clubs); Technology wise, it was leading industry in terms of business applications (accounting, reporting, pricing, etc);

Cons

Though the coverage was great, but the employee cost for medical/dental insurance was on the high side. It was not very open to flexible hours.
