Pros

Work with the best in the Air National Guard Engineering and Installation community. Worldwide travel.

Cons

It is a 3 year tour, so leadership and management are always changing with constant loss and rebuilding experience.

Pros

Commute if you live in Maryland, wellness program

Cons

Procurement shop is poorly managed & micromanaged at the same time. Division Directors and Branch Chiefs don't read regulations and don't know how to train contract specialists. Claims to be compliant contracting organization, is anything but. Threats come if you demonstrate your knowledge. Contracting Officers don't know what contract clauses mean. Scott AFB office is crippled by its own nepotism, cronyism, racism, & sexism.
