Pros

You can go on leave and not have to be there. Also, you can just go there and sleep. In plain view. No one cares as long as you don't try to get promoted or be proactive. There is even a place in the nurses station where you can go to take a nap. Usually crowded with senior citizens, but get in there at 7:00 am and you're golden until it's lunch time. Then you can crowd into the overpriced cafe where the majority of employees stay for 7 of their 8 hour workday.

Cons

Agency is being run life a mafia. Leadership is filled with typical government people who plan to stay in place and do just enough to not get fired and the bottom dwellers of the military services. It's easily the worst place to work in the federal government as it pertains to leadership and accountability. The government should take the $11B budget and put it into relevant warfighting capabilities. There are literally people who work two jobs there, and they use tberir time at DISA to get paid GS14 and 15 pay yo sleep behind their office door so that they can report to their second non fed job. It's a joke.
